Events Assistant
Richard Yoon is a current Junior studying Economics as part of Columbia’s dual bachelors program with SciencesPo. In middle school, he developed and installed lead-filtering extensions to local school fountains to address contaminant issues in the water. During the pandemic, he developed a cost-free program which used unutilized school buses to transport school meals and excess produce directly to quarantined students in need. Most recently, he has developed a network that connects non-native English speaking business owners with affordable, multilingual legal services to help combat predatory lawsuits. But when he’s not innovating, you’ll find him handbuilding little statues with clay, cooking up a Korean fusion dish, or helping the Columbia Women’s Basketball team train.
