June 1 | Senior Product Manager, DeliverE

DeliverE is the e-mobility driven last-mile logistics company that focuses on Tier-2 cities in India, our B2B focus aims to generate greater value for (decentralized) brick-and-mortar establishments by being their reliable partner in doing deliveries. Through our service, we want to drive commerce for the local economy, optimize the delivery network, and save the environment.

As a logistics company, we work with 3 stakeholders- our partners, riders, and the end customer. The product team works closely with engineering, design, data sciences, and analytics to deliver the best possible product experience through seamless technology solutions.

The Role:

The senior product manager at DeliverE will work directly on building the products that drive the mission of the company- efficiency, lower costs, and convenience. You will be part of a highly cross-functional team, including data science, engineering, analytics, product ops, product. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders in product management, business, operations on two to three projects. You will work with stakeholders to carve out a year-long roadmap and own its execution. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate high levels of ownership, efficiently navigate through large, cross-functional projects and maintain a high bar on the quality of software shipped.

Expectations:

Minimum 3-5 years of product management experience in business-facing product management roles. Prior experience in building and scaling B2B products is preferred

Experience influencing product direction and others around you. You handle chaos, ambiguity, and complexity in a detailed, organized way using data, metrics, and business insights

Strong product instincts and an ability to balance user and business impact

Long-term thinking, high degree of flexibility, owner mentality, a deep understanding of the business

Past experience in building and scaling technology-enabled products Owner mentality- willingness to take initiatives, the accountability to dive closure, tenacity, and grit; Can develop strategic roadmaps and tracking

Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate product vision and roadmap in a storytelling manner

The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams with assertiveness and influence based on well-informed decisions

Required Skills:

Worked on complex cross-functional products and went through the whole product journey of defining a strategy to driving go to market

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience. A postgraduate degree is a plus. Experience in developing/enhancing high-quality products leading to massive impacts in operations, fulfillment, catalog, etc.

2-3 years of hands-on Product Management experience (technical know-how is preferred) in building impactful b2b products at scale

Past experience in supply chain products is preferred

April 26 – May 12 | Start Me Up Bootcamp Spring 2021
Join Columbia Engineering’s Lean Launchpad virtual course to test your idea in the market! Faculty, staff, postdoctoral, graduate and undergraduate student researchers may apply with a team of one to three people. Teams that successfully complete this bootcamp may become eligible to apply for the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps Teams program, which includes a $50,000 grant.
